Line Pump Hire Auckland — 2-Inch Concrete Pumping

Your hire includes the trailer-mounted line pump, all necessary hoses (up to 50m standard), an experienced operator who runs the pump throughout your pour, setup and pack-down, and basic clean-up of the pump and hoses. Concrete supply is arranged by you directly with a batch plant — we can recommend suppliers if you need one.

Our 2-inch line pump can push concrete over 100 metres horizontally. For vertical pumping — retaining wall blocks, elevated slabs — we can reach multiple storeys up. Distance depends on concrete mix design (10mm aggregate, 120-150mm slump recommended) and site conditions. We assess this at your site visit.

The pump truck itself stays on the street or driveway. Only the hoses run down the side of your house — and they only need about 600-700mm clearance. This is the core advantage of line pump hire over boom pumps. For extremely narrow access (under 600mm), we can discuss alternative hose routing during a pre-pour site inspection.

Order a pump mix with 10mm aggregate and 120-150mm slump. Tell your concrete supplier it's for a 2-inch line pump and they'll know what to batch. Standard Auckland pump mixes from Firth, Allied, or Winstone are generally suitable. We can advise on mix design before you order.

Yes. We actively welcome small pours. The 2-hour minimum charge means even a small 2-3m³ pour is cost-effective with line pumping versus wheelbarrowing. Common small jobs include footpaths, garden shed slabs, small patios, and individual retaining wall block fills.
